Thomas W. Vaultonburg

Thomas W. Vaultonburg, 73, Byron, IL, passed away on January 23, 2022. He was born on November 28, 1948 in Mattoon, IL to Russell and Rose (Drum) Vaultonburg.

Thomas was a graduate of Freeport High School. He worked many years as a factory worker and machinist. He married his wife, Bobbie on March 27, 1999 in Rockton, IL. Thomas enjoyed having family and friends around and had a kind and generous soul, helping anybody in any way he could.

Left to cherish Thomas’ memory are his wife of 22 years, Bobbie; children, Thomas Vaultonburg, Jr., Daniel Vaultonburg, Larry Vaultonburg, Tamya Vaultonburg, Marshea Reed, Darrell Reed and Dakita Reed; grandchildren, Zachary and Rachel Vaultonburg, Nicholas and Molly Vaultonburg, Ameli and Alijah Smith, Tatum Brewington, Quintion Reed and Zuri Ramos; brother, Jim (Edith) Vaultonburg; the Vaultonberg’s of Mississippi; a host of nieces and nephews and special friend, Kenneth Spangler. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Sally Vaultonburg; brother, Maurice Vaultonburg and sisters, Elizabeth Mitchell, Linda Kerly and Dalin R. Green.
