Todd Robert Wood

Todd Robert Wood, 59, Loves Park, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Javon Bea Mercy Hospital. He was born in Rockford on April 18, 1964, the son of Thomas and Merylyn (Felton) Wood. Todd was an Army veteran serving in Germany. He married Janet Girard in Rockford on April 16, 1988. Todd was an engineer for Ingersoll Cutting Tool and later became a registered nurse serving as the Assistant Director of Nursing at Cor Mariae, transitioning to corporate level as an Information Technology specialist at Ascension Health.

Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Janet; his sons, Robert (Alyssa) Wood and Nicholas Wood, both of Iowa City, IA; his grandchildren, Easton, Walker and Barrett Wood; his brothers, Thomas (JoAnne) Wood of Loves Park and William Wood of Punta Gorda, FL; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents.
