Byron - Travis L. Gates, 65 passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Travis always celebrated his life. The family would like to give a special thanks to Swedish American Medical Group, especially Dr. Nameer Mardini and his staff, and the staff at Serenity Home & Hospice for all their care and support. Memorials to Serenity Home & Hospice 1658 IL –Rt. 2, Oregon, IL 61061. Cremation rites were accorded. Arrangements by Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108.
