Vera I. Lindquist

Vera I. Lindquist 89 of Rockford passed away Saturday May 16, 2015 in PA Peterson. She was born August 5, 1925 in Rockford, the daughter of John and Greta Carlson. She graduated from East High School. She married Gordon Lindquist on June 26, 1948 in Rockford. Gordon predeceased her on August 14, 2005. She worked for many years at Rockford Products, retiring in 1985. Vera was a member of Tabor Lutheran Church, Club 43, and Daughters of the Nile. She volunteered at Swedish American Hospital and also for Tabor Lutheran. Vera loved the fact that she was able to attend all her grandchildren’s weddings.
Survivors include her 2 Daughters, Cheryl (Steve) North of Davis, and Debbie (Stephen) Renne of Belvidere. Grandchildren, Lindsay (Richard) Gambini of Roscoe, Michael (Marcia) Renne of Jamestown, NC, Eric (Betsy) North of Davis and Andrew (Marlena) Renne of New Berlin, WI. Great grandchildren, Richie, Jonathan, Madelyn and a fourth on the way. Predeceased by her parents, Husband Gordon. Sister, June Johnson.
