Wendy Jo Thompson

Wendy Jo Thompson, 53, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on March 23, 2020. Born in Rockford on December 21, 1966 she was a daughter to Jack and Jeanette (Peterson) Thompson. She was also a 1985 graduate of Harlem High School. Wendy enjoyed spending time with her siblings when they were younger playing card games, sketching, crocheting, or dancing when she could, watching TV but most of all she loved spending time with her daughter.
Wendy will be survived by those who loved her most, her daughter Jenna; her siblings Randy Thompson, Vicki (Curt) Lewis and Pamela “Pooh” Gagliano; her nieces and nephews Amy Lee McKee, Rachel Thompson, Curt Lewis III and April Lewis, Joshua and Sean Gagliano. She was predeceased by both of her parents.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to establish a fund for Jenna.
