William H. Atwood, age 53, of Machesney Park, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at City First Church, City First Church, 5950 Spring Creek Rd, Rockford, IL 61114. A committal service will conclude in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in William’s name to the Atwood family to be dedicated to his son’s education.
